Being so intrigued by this topic I have done even more research and apparently people are using not only Monistat but also Cortizone and Athletes foot medications as well for hair growth. Some people have fungal problems with their scalp/hair. So that is believed to be the reason why some people see results. It would also explain why some people say it has a drying effect on their hair (i.e. those who may not have a fungal problem). Also note people can have fungal issues and not even know. There are many sides to the argument on this issues. Medical studies have concluded it does not work. However there are people who have picture documentation of their hair growth. My main issue is: Is it SAFE? :-/

As far as a primer for foundation……It has the same ingredients as Smashbox Photo Finish. Smashbox was one of the first to actually create a foundation primer. Maybe they got the idea from those crazy well kept hollywood beauty secrets. At any rate I still couldn’t get past putting yeast infection cream on my face. But hey it’s got to be cheaper than a $50 2 oz. of Smashbox but still.
